A Stride in Faith was birthed from a calling and hunger to see the supernatural manifest in the lives of those of us living supposedly ‘normal’ lives. Our normal ranges from being career women, business women, stay at home mums, wives, daughters, sisters, mothers or whatever we identify with today’s world.

 

The mission of A Stride in Faith is to be intentional about living for God and fulfilling our designated purposes through effective intercession by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

We stand in agreement to pray for each other, our families, ministries and nations. The vision was to hold monthly meetings. Ultimately the sessions increased  according to the leading of the Spirit. Hence the birth of ‘THE HOLY SPIRIT’S HOTSPOT’ which is a mid month session held virtually.

 

A private WhatsApp group was created to enable us share some information and weekly blogs. It also helped us agree on a day and time during the week when we could meet virtually to pray. An Instagram page has since been created to share weekly prayers and widen our reach. We also receive prayer requests confidentially, including testimonies via a designated email address.

 

Our goal is to see ourselves grow and impact lives positively by taking strides in Faith and bringing the influence of God’s Kingdom to our world through complete dependency on the Holy Spirit.

 

In closing, allow me take you back to that time when a young lady by the name of Esther seemed to be the only hope of saving her nation. She was so young and had no idea how. She nevertheless had God and realised she had been placed where she was for such a time as that. She took her fears to God and in turn, His Glory was manifested. He didn’t end there, Esther was transformed from that timid young woman to one of the most powerful women in the world. Till date, her story is being told and forever remains inspiring.

 

My darling sister, let’s make history together in God’s kingdom and secure our treasure in heaven.
