Grace is one of the most powerful forces. Even though love is described as the greatest, most times, it takes the Grace of God to love. Grace has the power to do what no one or anything can do. In fact, we are all here today by the Grace of God. 
In the Hebrew scripture, Grace is translated from an act to stoop over in kindness( inconvenience yourself to help someone). In Greek, it is called Charis: Gift, Charity, unmerited favour.
Grace is what reaches us wherever we are, and takes us where God wants us to be. It has the ability to transform us from the core of our heart. Hence the saying, it will take the Grace of God to……
The Grace for completion is when we are fully restored to who God has destined us to be. There will be peace and comfort that surpasses understanding, there will be restoration, there will be no more unnecessary struggles. We will have complete liberty to worship in the presence of God. We will abide under the fountain of his Grace. It is a place of unlimited resources. Your promised land.
For some of us, this will relate to journeys and projects that we have embarked on/ or plan to embark on (education, career paths, raising our children, peace in our marriages, getting married etc). For others, it is the journey of our faith, the journey to fulfil our God given purpose and satisfy that thirst we have for God. The task of completing this race of life, when we are rewarded with the crown of life, when our creator says to us : Well done my faithful servant, enter into my rest.
 In all we aim to acquire and accomplish, let us not forget that the later (the journey of faith), surpasses EVERYTHING. After all, the bible says, what shall it profit a main to gain the whole world and lose his soul.
“The world is impressed by those who start, but transformed by those who finish”.“Beginning is a momentary thing, finishing is a lifelong thing”.Ecc7:8 The end of a matter is better than the beginning.

It doesn’t matter where or how you start, as long as the Grace of God is involved, He will see you through to a perfect finish/ completion.“When we run with men, it’s called a race. When we run with God, it’s called Grace”.
Abraham, Moses, Rahab, Ruth, Paul and many more heroes of faith are testimonies that God is able to use any circumstance as a starting point. Most times, it didn’t even make sense, but this was the beginning of their individual journeys to completion through God’s Grace. We will speak about a few of them as we pray.
Ruth 1:12-18Ruth was a young widow, there was no fruit from the marriage. In an ideal world, she could have gone her own way to start afresh. Her mother in law was a baggage she didn’t  need. However, God was about to use that mess as the starting point of her journey. Notice that on this journey back to Bethlehem, there were 3 of them. Naomi begged Ruth and Oprah a few times before Oprah caved in and left. But Ruth stood her ground because she recognised the Grace of God was on this journey. Oprah used the eyes of the natural to gauge the situation but Ruth saw through the supernatural. She said no, ‘we where you die, I will die’. Naomi was unknowingly being used as an opposition against the completion of  that journey. After all, she asked to be called Mara (bitter waters).
Face that opposition today and speak with boldness:

• I REJECT THE URGE TO DEVIATE FROM THE PATH THAT GOD HAS CREATED FOR MY DESTINY IJN.
• MY JOURNEY TO COMPLETION WILL NOT BE BARRICADED BY DISCOURAGING COUNSEL IJN.

Ruth 2:2-10Upon arrival, Ruth took the reins, she didn’t wait for her mum in law to show her around- because Grace was involved, she found wisdom, direction and favour on the path that led her to Boaz. Ruth is one of Jesus’s great Grand mothers. A foreigner from the land of Moab.

• OH LORD LET YOUR GRACE SET ME UP WITH MY DESTINY.
• EQUIP ME WITH WISDOM AND HELP ME FIND FAVOUR ALONG THIS PATH IN JESUS NAME.

Numbers 14:21-23The plan of God was to take the children of Israel from Goshen to a promised land. One that flowed with milk and honey. The perfect finish by his Grace. However, because they treated God with contempt, a portion of them were stopped from completing this journey and reaching the promised land.

• OH LORD MAY I NOT EMBARK ON A JOURNEY/ PROJECT THAT LEADS NOWHERE  IJN (A DIRECTIONLESS JOURNEY).

Numbers: 14: 24, 30.Because God breathed a different spirit upon Joshua and Caleb, they were set apart from their generation to complete the journey to their promised land.-BREATHE UPON ME A DIFFERENT SPIRIT THAT SETS ME APART ON THIS JOURNEY TO SUCCESS IJN.-BREATHE UPON ME THE ANOINTING FOR COMPLETION IN JESUS NAME.Numbers 20:9-12.Moses had been leading the Israelites for a while. They were complacent and difficult to contend with. He was the most humble man in the world- till date. He had persevered, but on this day, he was frustrated and did not allow his actions bring Glory to the name of God. His attitude cost him the promised land. All his hard work leading the people seemed futile.The Holy Spirit is speaking to someone. Leave that battle to the lord. Everything justifies your anger but at what cost?? Watch and allow His Glory lead you to a place of victory. Watch and allow His Grace see you through to competition.

• OH LORD MAY MY ATTITUDE (THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT) NOT COST ME THE PROMISED LAND YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME. (When you define your promised land, this prayer point has more depth. It is that area you envision that flows with milk and honey, a place of rest).
• RENEW A RIGHT SPIRIT WITHIN ME.

They were almost at the end of the journey but unfortunately almost didn’t count. This is how some situations appear. When we are almost at the edge of that breakthrough, something we say or do (not necessarily through bad intentions but maybe through lack of obedience to the voice of God) destroys everything we have laboured and toiled for. May this not be our portion in Jesus name.

• I REJECT EVERY FORM OF DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE EDGE OF MY BREAKTHROUGH IN JESUS NAME.
• DISSOCIATE ME FROM ANY PERSON/ GROUP THAT MAY COST ME MY PROMISED LAND IN JESUS NAME.

I may not have mentioned above that this journey is never easy, it is filled with ups and downs, challenges, pain, discouragement,and so on. However, like every stage in life, we need to go through tests/ examinations to get to the next level. He who studies hard but does not sit for the examination has toiled in vain. If you study medicine and can identify the complete anatomy of a human body but refuse to take your qualification exams, you cannot be licensed to treat anyone let alone be called a medical doctor.This is what Paul recognised and continuously spoke about.
Acts 9:1-8Paul was on a journey (the wrong journey) to destroy the followers of Christ. Note that he was a very educated man. He had sound knowledge of the law. In his heart, he was definitely doing the right thing (there is a way that seems right to a man but leads to destruction). In fact he was there when Stephen was killed. However, on this day, God was going to redirect that journey. He had a master plan for Saul’s life. His light realigned Saul’s path.He gave him a new name and redesigned his destiny.

• OH LORD CALL ME BY A NEW NAME TODAY AND LET YOUR LIGHT REALIGN MY STEPS TOWARDS THE PATH YOU HAVE DESTINED FOR ME IN JESUS NAME.

Hebrews:12:1-2God is not concerned about how long, he is however a God of process and focus.

• OH LORD, ANOINT ME WITH PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE AND PERSISTENCE TO COMPLETE MY JOURNEY/ PROJECT IN JESUS NAME.

Acts 20:24, 2Timothy 4:6-8Paul realised that night time was approaching (night time does not necessarily mean death. It means that the opportunity or window to carry out some work/ purpose is no longer available), he realised the importance of running this race. He was close to receiving the crown of life. He was no longer bothered about distractions and earthly vanities. His focus was to complete his journey. He was determined to be a finisher.

• OH LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE FOR COMPLETION IJN. (Simple prayer but should be prayed with depth)
• MAY I BE COUNTED WORTHY TO RECEIVE THE CROWN OF LIFE IJN.

DECLARATIONSI declare fresh motivation into your life to be a pioneer, an influencer and an agent of change.I declare that there shall be no more vacations from focus and your God given responsibilities You have full time and devotion to that which you have been called to do.You pursue excellence successfully.Receive the resources that you need to  to complete this journey.You efforts to complete this journey will not be in vain.Your journey will propel your generation to greater heights.Every spirit of ungodly delay is destroyed from your lifeThe grace of God will cooperate with your destiny.You will finish well.Your saviour will commend you and you will not miss the crown of life in Jesus name.
