POSITIONING FOR DIVINE ACCELERATION

Divine acceleration is the supernatural ability of God applied to your life to bring his plans to pass at a rate faster than is humanly possible. It is the unstoppable move of God that commands progress.

God cannot wait to accelerate you. However more than ever, He has been affirming to me that he is a God of process. He will not overwhelm you with a gift you have not been equipped to keep. It can be compared to buying a Rolex watch for someone with no hands. If a person has no clue or experience on how to use their material gifts, they ultimately become unsustainable.
The purpose of today’s session is to understand the principles and processes that will enable us to position ourselves for God’s divine acceleration. I was reading an article where it likened this process to being at a theme park waiting to get on one of those rides that surges you forward. First of all, we wait in the queue till it’s our turn. Even if you have fast track tickets, there is a designated queue for this. Sometimes, the queue can be inconvenient but it is the correct process to follow. When it’s your turn, you go into the holding space before you get on the ride. You start the ride from the bottom but immediately that ignition is turned on, boom, you are propelled right to the top, once you are at the top, it gets better. This describes the process of divine acceleration.
There are no shortcuts to achieving divine acceleration. If we decide to skip the queue, it might cost us the ride (purpose). The queue is necessary to guarantee your place on that ride. Tonight we will be praying about what it takes to wait and strategically position ourselves to be propelled into a place of divine acceleration.

WAITING IN LINEIsaiah 40:31
I love this scripture because it describes a progression of events.The first principle is waiting and holding on to God’s word/ prophecy or word of knowledge. It is a test of obedience.There is something about waiting in a queue. If you are a patient person (as The bible admonishes us to be), it gives you a feeling that you are doing something right. Where the spirit of God is, there is orderliness. It shows that you are following the correct process and once it gets to your turn, your purpose is fulfilled. We are descendants of Abraham by covenant and when we read his story along with Isaac’s and Jacob’s, we see that they waited in line until it was their turn to be accelerated. It was not always easy but they waited and trusted God. When it got to their turn, they were propelled and accelerated to their destiny.
However, what made them wait? It was God’s word, His prophecy and promises. What Is God saying to you today? Where has God promised to take you? Write it down if you have a pen and pray. (Habakuk 2:3)

OH LORD, I CHOOSE TO WAIT UPON YOU. ANOINT ME WITH THE VIRTUE OF PATIENCE.
GRANT ME THE GRACE TO WAIT IN LINE FOR MY TURN. HELP ME OPERATE ACCORDING TO YOUR DIVINE TIMELINE.
I WILL NOT SKIP OR LOSE MY PLACE ON THE QUEUE TO MY DIVINE ACCELERATION IN JESUS NAME (Jonah skipped his place in the queue and ended up in the belly of the fish only to go back to where he started. Until Jonah spoke with his mouth: oh lord, I will pay what I vowed, he was not spat out of the mouth of the fish. Likewise, we saw what happened when Abraham and Sarah tried to manipulate their positions in the queue whilst waiting for a child).

ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDEPhilippians 4:11 MSG Without an attitude of gratitude, it is almost impossible to wait. Complacent people do not have the grace to wait. It upsets the entire process of acceleration and produces a hopeless situation. When we are grateful, it brings God to our situation. If we are able to write a gratitude journal daily, it means we are recording testimonies and progressing gradually, thereby inevitably approaching our divine acceleration. Gratitude invites the presence of God into our journeys.The songwriter wrote: I’m waiting, anticipating… I won’t stop praising till my change comes.

OH LORD, CLOTHE ME WITH A GARMENT OF GRATITUDE.
I REJECT ANY COMPLACENT SPIRIT OBSTRUCTING MY DIVINE ACCELERATION IN JESUS NAME.

ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER.Matthew 7:12, Ephesians4: 25-29It is important to understand the principle of encouraging one another. It is a selfless act of seeing good in your neighbour and lifting them up even though you may not be where you want to be yet. When you look out to uplift others, God positions himself to accelerate your upliftment. God wants us to encourage others the way we would like to be encouraged. He wants us to value others the same way we would like to be valued. He wants us to show confidence in other’s abilities. God wants us to take chances and risks to support others. This is the real good news that people want to hear. You may not get the opportunity to read the bible to everyone. Your actions speak the loudest. This is what attracts people to the God we serve, God wants us to be sources of encouragement.

I RECEIVE DIVINE EMPOWERMENT TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS AND BE A BEARER OF GOOD NEWS.
MAY MY WORDS BE A LADDER TO THE SUCCESS FOR OTHERS IN JESUS NAME.

HONOURING THE GRACE OF GOD.
Romans 12:10-12. This is a strong principle that I was brought up with. As long as you remain in the queue and show consistency at this, in your due season, you will reap a good reward for your labour. It is a seed sown for your generations to come.Anywhere you recognise the Grace of God over someone, please honour it. They don’t have to appreciate it, the reward is in your act of honour. If you see someone with a good marriage, honour that grace. If it’s someone with children you are waiting on, honour the grace. If it’s someone with a great business and career, honour the grace.When you do so, God is strategically positioning you for divine acceleration.How do you honour the grace of God over someone? It could be with a compliment. A prayer, sowing into their lives etc. Be careful not to confuse this with social climbing. It takes the spirit of discernment to recognise the Grace of God over someone else. It does not always come wrapped in gold.

OH LORD, HELP ME TO DISCERN AND HONOUR YOUR GRACE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY IN JESUS NAME.

GENEROSITY
John 3:16, Luke 6:38The second scripture says, give and it shall be given back to you, good measure, press down, shaken together…… If you give, God blesses you with more than you have given. The most striking thing is that what you give is what you receive in abundance. If you give love, you receive more love. Likewise the reverse. Personally, when I want something, I sow in my capacity into someone or a ministry. Sometimes, if I need answered prayers, I spend time praying for others because this principle of God’s word never ever fails.God sent his only son to the world for our redemption and salvation. There is no gain saying that generosity is a very important principle that aids divine acceleration.To be generous means that nothing is too dear for you to give to God and no material thing is too dear for you to share with your neighbour. God needs your hands to be released and available for him to reach out and elevate you.Remember Abraham’s acceleration began when he obeyed God by bringing his son Isaac as an offering. This was the one time that God swore by His own self to bless Abraham.God is saying that it is not only our material possessions He wants us to be generous with. What about our time in prayer, our time in worship? What is that thing that we give more priority to than God in our lives? Hand it over he says…. I need your hands to accelerate you.

CREATE IN ME A GENEROUS SPIRIT.

HUMILITY
Matthew 18:1-5. Philippians 2:5-11In order to strategically position ourselves for divine acceleration, we need to pursue humility as a treasure. As Jesus said in this scripture, if we want to be the greatest in God’s kingdom, we need to be like little children. God our creator set a standard for humility when he came to this world as a man, when he washed the feet of his disciples, when he died so that we could have abundant and eternal life. Notice that after he did all these things, He ascended into heaven. It is easy for the pleasures of this world to cost us our humility and subsequently our divine acceleration. Hence there is a need to purge ourselves of any form of pride and stay humble.

SEARCH MY HEART, MY MOTIVE, MY INTENT AND ELIMINATE WHATEVER YOU HAVE NOT DEPOSITED THERE.

FASTING AND PRAYING
Luke 4:1-14The ultimate way to position ourselves for divine acceleration is through setting ourselves apart and taking time to fast and pray. For some of us, fasting is not only abstinence from food. It’s giving up something to spend more time with God.This way, we are seeking the face of God and he reveals his plans and purpose with clarity. Prayers equip us to fight the battles encountered whilst waiting as it is not always a smooth journey. It lures God’s presence towards us and opens our eyes to divine revelations. As we can see from the above scripture, Jesus had taken some time off to fast and pray. At the end of the fast, the devil came to tempt him and Jesus had the perfect words to ward off the devices and craftiness of the devil. The bible says he was filled with the Holy Spirit and power. Prayers fill us with the Holy Spirit and gives us the right words to triumph over situations.The bible describes that Elijah put his head in between his knees when he was about to pray for rain. Sometimes, we need to set time apart and let go of comfort to seek the face of God.

OPEN MY SPIRITUAL EYES TO SEE DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND THE PHYSICAL
OPEN MY SPIRITUAL EYES TO SEE ONLY BY THE LIGHT OF GOD
OPEN MY SPIRITUAL EARS TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD AUDIBLY AND WITH CLARITY IN JESUS NAME.

Prayer builds your spiritual momentum (weight and speed). It is the key to divine acceleration. It eliminates any ungodly delays.

OH LORD BUILD UP MY SPIRITUAL MOMENTUM IN JESUS NAME.

Genesis 41:14-16, 37-44.Joseph was a Billionaire’s son. However, God had a peculiar plan for him. He had a ‘never before’ position with his name on it. And for Joseph to fulfill that purpose, he needed to go through the heavenly protocol and process. After Joseph had waited in line and been correctly positioned by God for his divine acceleration, God arranged his destiny so that on the day he was called out of prison was the same day he became the prime minister of Egypt. Joseph’s advice to Pharaoh delivered the entire world through many years of famine

OH LORD, REARRANGE MY DESTINY AND ACCELERATE THE PROCESS FOR ME TO BE THE CHANGE MY GENERATION HAS LONG AWAITED IN JESUS NAME

John 11:38-44Lazarus had died and was in the grave for 4 days. In fact the scripture records that his sister said there would be a stench in his tomb. And sometimes this is the way some situations appear in our lives when we have been waiting. Sometimes, the enemy uses this as a vice to make us give up. However, it is never over if God says it is not. Something happened when Jesus showed up. All he said was ‘ LAZARUS COME FORTH’. You have positioned yourself for divine acceleration tonight, it’s time to speak the language of faith and call those situations that appear to be dead forth.

My Health, come forth
My Spirit, come forth.
My Finance forth,
My House, come forth,
My Husband, my children,come forth,
My Acceleration, come forth.
My Life, come forth.
My Business, come forth.
My Ministry comfort in Jesus name.

God defiled time and blessed Sarah with a biological child at the age of 90. He defiled time and resurrected Lazarus after 4 days of being in the tomb.
