OPEN HEAVENS
An open heaven is the visibility of heaven from earth. It is the reality of the nearness of heaven to earth. It is a place where we are able to operate solely on the direction and influence of the Holy Spirit. It is a place that gives worship a new meaning. A place where everything submits to the presence of God.
Under an open heaven, there is only one spirit that operates, And this is the Holy Spirit. Every other geographical spirit cannot withstand an open heaven because it is filled with the presence and power of the most high God.
When Jesus ascended to heaven, his disciples were present. They saw the heavens open and from that day, they manifested the blessings and outstanding miracles of an open heaven. They stopped operating under a closed heaven. Their eyes were open, their faith was strengthened, their hope was renewed and their vision sharpened.
An open heaven is meant to transform our mindset. It is an assurance that God is ever present. It creates an aura of confidence and helps us to be strong influences in our spheres of life.
Every prophet and disciple that encountered an open heaven were convinced without a shadow of doubt that they had direct access to God’s throne of Grace and mercy and ultimately they lived to this full potential.
Jacob, Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Stephen and Jesus described encounters of open heavens in the bible.
Tonight it is my prayer that the heaven will shift  and open so wide that there will be significant changes in the life of every single soul represented here In Jesus name.
Before we start to command the heavens open, we need to unlock some fundamental keys.
1. ATTITUDE OF WORSHIP
Revelations 4:8-10“The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”‭‭It is impossible to experience an open heaven without being a worshipper. In the book of revelations we see that this is the sole duty of the 24 elders and angels above. Worship is what brings us into the presence of God and invites us into his realm. His realm is a place of deeper knowledge and understanding of who he is. His realm is a place of transformation into his likeness. His realm is a place of Greater Glory.
Let us join the company of the elders for a few moments and worship the God of Open Heavens, where the streets are paved in Gold.

2. PASSION FOR THE THINGS OF GOD
psalm 69:9 NLT“Passion for your house has consumed me”‭Our passion for the things of God should not be limited to when we pray. His passion should reflect in every single thing that we do. As parents, in our jobs, businesses, marriages. His passion has not been designed for a selected few. It is meant to be seen on every being that the lord has created. We need this passion to carry God’s presence where we find ourselves. Paul and Silas carried it whilst in prison. Daniel carried this passion to the lion’s den. Shadrack, Messhak and Abednigo carried this into the fiery furnace. David wore it like a second skin.

• OH LORD IGNITE MY PASSION FOR YOU.
• CAUSE YOUR ZEAL TO CONSUME ME

3. MOTIVE
 Psalm 1:1-3 (emphasis on v 2)“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”‭‭It’s all about what motivates us. What motivates you to wake up every morning to pray? Is it your love for God? Or the fear of having a bad day? Your fear of failure, or the fear of losing what you hold dear? Is your motivation driven by fame, blessings or finance? God wants to be all that motivates you. He wants his word to be your drive. He wants to be your delight. Every other thing will fall into place.When God is your motivator, your life becomes a motivation to the world. God announces you to the world and you become the one after his heart like David.
The easiest way to loose fire as a believer is by having the wrong motive. It is good to seek and have prestigious positions and influences but our priority should be down at the feet of God which the bible describes as the most high place. It is a place of humility, a place of complete dependence on God.
As we unlock our open heavens tonight, let us set our motives right with God. Isaiah 50:7 says I have set my set face like a flint, therefore I will not be disgraced. ( a flint is an object of target, focused and not prepared to waiver)

• I SET MY FACE LIKE A FLINT AND DECLARE THAT YOU OH LORD ARE MY MOTIVATION.
• MOTIVATE MY PURPOSE OH LORD
• MOTIVATE MY SPIRIT. LET MY DELIGHT BE IN YOU.

4. PRAYER
Luke 3:21“When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Prayer is a key, in fact it is the master key that unlocks heaven. It is the supernatural key that has been given to believers with the authority to shut and open doors in the spiritual realms.Prayers open doors, it opens heavens. As we pray, we take our places as door keepers of heaven and possess the keys to unlock the gates of heavens over our lives, families, cities and nations.
Isaiah 22:22 NLT“I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”
Keys in the bible represents authority.

• I RECEIVE THE KEYS TO UNLOCK MY HEAVENS TONIGHT, I REFUSE TO OPERATE UNDER A CLOSED HEAVEN
• I RECEIVE THE KEYS TO UNLOCK OPPORTUNITIES AND POSSIBILITIES
• I RECEIVE THE KEYS OPEN EVERY FAVOURABLE DOOR THAT HAS BEEN SHUT AGAINST ME
• I RECEIVE THE KEYS TO BIND EVERY STRONG MAN POSITIONED AT THE DOOR OF MY BREAKTHROUGHS
• I RECEIVE THE KEYS TO LOCK EVERY DOOR OF DESTRUCTION AGAINST MY HOME, CITY, NATION, CHILDREN, MARRIAGE, GROWTH IN JESUS NAME.
• I RECEIVE THE KEYS TO LOCK THE DOORS OPENED BY FEAR

When Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist the first thing that happened is that the heavens opened as mentioned above. Then the Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove and settled upon him. An open heaven is a place of settlement in the Holy Spirit. When we are settled in the Holy Spirit. Every situation in our lives aligns with God’s purpose. Our Goals begin to align according to His will for our lives.

• SPIRIT OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, SETTLE UPON MY LIFE TONIGHT.
• SETTLE EVERY MATTER OBSTRUCTING MY OPEN HEAVENS
• HOLY SPIRIT CAUSE EVERY CLOUD OF DISTRACTION, LIMITATIONS, PAIN, LACK, UNBELIEF THAT MAY HAVE CLOSED MY HEAVENS TO GIVE WAY NOW IN JESUS NAME.

Genesis 7:11-12“In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.” ‭
If we read further into this scripture, we see how an Open heaven is able to cause great destruction. Everyone that mocked Noah’s obedience and journey to fulfilment of purpose were destroyed. Every enemy of his peace was destroyed when God opened the windows of heaven.

• OH LORD, RAIN DOWN DESTRUCTION OVER THE ALTAR OF EVERY ENEMY OF MY PURPOSE AND FULFILLMENT
• RAIN DOWN DESTRUCTION OVER EVERY ENEMY OF MY PEACE
• RAIN DOWN DESTRUCTION OVER EVERY GATES OF BRASS AND BARS OF IRON BARRICADING MY ACCELERATION
• RAIN DOWN DESTRUCTION EVERY DARKNESS OVERPOWERING MY LIGHT
• RAIN DOWN DESTRUCTION OVER THE SPIRIT OF OPPRESSION IN OUR LAND.

Deuteronomy 28:12-13“The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.” ‭‭

We see from this scripture that this same heaven is able to rain down blessings to the children of God. I want you to think about this: There are treasures and then there is God’s good treasure. God’s good treasure causes ALL the works of your hands to be blessed. It causes us to lend to nations and never borrow. It causes us to be the head and not the tail. Above only and never beneath.
Joel 2:23“Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.” ‭‭

• DRENCH ME IN YOUR FORMER AND YOUR LATTER RAIN
• GIVE ME RAIN IN SEASON (INCREASE ME, CAUSE ME TO REAP A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST )
• I DECLARE FROM TODAY, I REFUSE TO BE A BORROWER, AND I TAKE MY POSITION AS A LENDER TO NATIONS IN JESUS NAME.
• I AM THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL, ABOVE AND NOT BENEATH (Pray the same for your household and loved ones)
• CAUSE YOUR SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS TO FALL UPON ME. LET IT HYDRATE MY SOUL.

Genesis 28:10-12“Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.” ‭

One of the first encounters with an open heaven was when Jacob departed from his home and had a dream. He saw a ladder that went right through from earth to heaven. And the first thing that happened was that angels were ascending and descending from that ladder.Do you know that God created his angels to accomplish specific tasks in our lives? Psalm 91 says He has given his angels charge concerning us.“Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!]” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭AMP‬‬ 
The bible says that by two unchangeable things it is impossible for God to lie. So before he promises you something, he has already accomplished it. And this is why the angels came before God spoke, they were depositing the blessings God was about to speak over Jacob. They were fulfilling the blessings in the spiritual realm before it was spoken to man.

–I CALL FORTH THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS ASSIGNED TO ME TO ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO BY MY FATHER. (Protect, bless, preserve, lift, elevate, promote, heal, restore.
Genesis 28:13-17“And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: “I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it. ” And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!””
Do not doubt that God is in this place.
– OH LORD, I STAND AT THE GATE OF HEAVEN TONIGHT AND I RECEIVE ALL THE BLESSINGS OF JACOB IN JESUS NAME . The blessings of a Godly Inheritance, multiplication, Increase, supernatural expansion,breakthroughs, protection, promise, assurance.

 2 Kings 7 (read 1-2, 17-20) read the full chapter when you can.“Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ” So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.””
“Now the king had appointed the officer on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. But the people trampled him in the gate, and he died, just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him. So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be sold tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.” Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” And so it happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gate, and he died.”
Elisha had prophesied that within 24 hours there was going to be a turnaround in the nation. The situation was so bad that one of the king’s officers dared to challenge a prophecy from God. Not only that he dared challenge the outcome and authority of an open heaven. Do not joke with the anointing of an open heaven. Under an open heaven ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. And we need to operate under it with great faith and discernment. Under an open heaven, a turnaround is inevitable. I’m not sure what burden you have accepted and came here with tonight, God is saying within a short time there will be a turnaround and  if you believe, you will partake of the miracle. 

• I STAND IN THE PLACE OF ELISHA AND DECLARE A TURNAROUND OVER EVERY BURDEN , SICKNESS, PAIN, FAILURE, DEPRESSION, STRUGGLE, OPPRESSION (in Nigeria) IJN

I read this passage and repented because I asked myself, what makes me different from this officer? How many times have I judged an outcome based on what I see now? How many times have I judged people’s situations based on what they are going through? Then I asked myself, could these stop me from being a partaker when God moves?This same applies to Nigeria. So many say there can’t be a change. The leaders have given up on developing the nation and have resorted to greed and selfishness.

• I AM A PARTAKER OF GOD’s TURNAROUND OVER THIS CITY IN JESUS NAME.
• ANYONE OPPOSING THE VALIDITY OF GOD’S WORD OVER MY LIFE, OVER OUR NATION. YOU WILL NOT PARTAKE OF ITS THE BLESSINGS IN JESUS NAME.

Ezekiel 1:1-3, “Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. On the fifth day of the month, which was in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity, the word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was upon him there.” ‭

Daniel 7:13“I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him.” ‭‭

When we operate under an open heaven, we see visions, the word of God comes to us expressly and the hand of God comes upon us. We become oracles of God. Vessels unto honour, instruments of his Glory.

• OH LORD, OPEN MY EYES TO SEE YOUR GLORY
• CAUSE YOUR HANDS TO BE UPON ME FOR SUPERNATURAL EXPLOITS (we saw how dead bones arose because God’s hands upon Ezekiel caused him to prophecy. What supernatural exploits are you praying for? The anointing that raised dead bones is available to you.

Matthew 27:50-54“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

As soon as Jesus died, the veil at the temple was split into two. Before Jesus came, the high priest would access the holy of Holies through this veil to atone for the sins of people by sprinkling the blood of atonement. Because of sin, man was not able to stand in the presence of God.That barrier was destroyed after the death of Jesus. The ripping of the veil signified an open heaven available to everyone that believes in Jesus. This means that an open heaven, divine access is available to you and I.
-THE VEIL HAS BEEN SPLIT INTO OPEN, JESUS HAS PROVIDED ME WITH FREE ACCESS INTO MY OPEN HEAVENS (Begin to declare the blessings)– EVERY ALTER INTIMIDATING MY OPEN HEAVENS, I COMMAND YOU TO BE DESTROYED BY A HEAVENLY EARTHQUAKE IN JESUS NAME..

I declare over your lives:You will fulfill divine purpose You are free from generational Toxic cycles and patterns You have the grace for completionYou triumph in all your relationshipsYou are a virtuous womanYou are positioned for divine accelerationYou operate under open heavens
